New Year's Eve Inspired
Since the New Year is approaching, I thought it would be a good idea to give you guys a quick and easy eye look. I collaborated with my beaute Rosemary @artistybyrose to bring you guys this amazingly, easy-to-do, NYE inspired pictorial. I hope you guys enjoy it and are able to easily recreate this look.
Don't mind my non-plucked eyebrows! I promise I will get them done soon.
Anyway, first we started by priming the lids. Rosemary used the MAC Prep and Prime 24 Hour Extended Eye Base.
We then applied a transition color all over the lid to set the base. She used the color Saddle by MAC with the MAC dual fiber brush 286.
We then moved on to the outer V, in the color Ground Brown from MAC, keeping close to the lash line. For this step we used MAC brush 239.
All over the entire lid, we used Colour Pop Super Shock Shadows in the color Amaze. We applied this color wet with MAC fix plus spray on a synthetic MAC brush 242.
On top of that Amaze color, we layered MAC's mineralized eye shadow in the color Spiritual Life, using the same brush as before, the synthetic brush 242.
Now we move on to an eyeliner. You can use any liner of your choice, whether its a gel liner, or a pencil, whatever makes you feel comfortable. Rosemary used the color Blacktrack from MAC with an angled brush, also from MAC, 266.
And finally to finish this eye look, you apply any mascara of choice. We used MAC's extended play mascara, but again you can use any black mascara of choice.
I personally do not use fake lashes because my own are naturally pretty long. However, definitely feel free to throw on some lashes to give your eyes more pop.
Here is the final look!! Complete details of all products used on my entire face are below!
