Weekend Uniform: Tweed Blazer and Jeans
I love the weekends. I love that I have some time for me to do the things that I love, and even some of the things that I don't but are necessary. I really like being able to wear what I want and how I want freely. Sometimes I’m so torn with just wanting to be comfortable by wearing sneakers and leggings but at the same time want to be cute, wearing heels high waisted ripped jeans and an off the shoulder top. The struggle is real. On most weekends, however, the cute, dressy side won. I naturally have a dressy style so I don't really mind workwear, however I like to be able to wear all those cute items that are off limits Monday through Friday.
I love wearing blazers. I especially with a super cute pair of boyfriend jeans. A blazer makes the perfect outwear. This tweed blazer is especially perfect for these cold winter months. What I loved the most about this particular blazer, is the plaid pattern. Because it was my first time experiencing with plaid, I kept it the rest of this look neutral. I paired the blazer with distress skinny jeans, a white tee; all wardrobe basics. This classic look is perfect for any weekend activity and it is one of my weekend go-to’s.
