Neck Tie Floral Dress + NYFW 2018 Recap

Hey Beauties

It was NYFW this past week. Being that I have my 9-5, I was only able to attend the festivities during the weekend. I kicked off my weekend on Friday night for a night of magic with Midori Linea where she was showcasing her new Fall 2018 collection, Magical Galaxy at the W Hotel in Downtown NYC. Since hubby and I were due for date night, I brought him as my plus one! I had the pleasure of meeting fellow blogger Ylsa with @inapair and Tanika with @tbr_nyclifestyle.

On Saturday I attended a couple of shows with the Oxford Fashion Studio. It was my first experience at the fashion shows so I beyond excited to attend. It was a great experience to get a sneak peak at the whats coming up in fashion. I met food blogger Jessica with @peachytravels

Since I have been obsessing over the neck tie looks lately, I found this perfect dress to wear to the shows. Neck ties are super stylish and adds a little sophistication to the piece. It is perfect for tops and dresses alike.

I wore a neck tie floral dress for NYFW shows on Saturday and I got tons of compliments. Being that it was raining all weekend, I wanted to wear something chic, comfortable and easy and this dress did everything for me that day! It was super easy to wear, simple yet eye catching. I paired this dress with my favorite OTK boots that I have worn a million time before. Because of the neck tie, I didn't even bother to accessorize the look at all. I throw on my boots, shoulder bag and umbrella and was off attend the shows.
