Polka Dots

Hey Fashionistas,

I think 2019 is definitely welcoming polka dots. I think it safe to say that the trend is here to stay a while. I have seen it all over social media, fashion magazines, you name it. Its very vibrant. I think we can all agree that polka dot prints give us retro vibes? There is just something about it that that makes me feel like I am back in the 70’s (not that I lived through the 70s or anything like that). I have really been keeping my eye on polka dot pieces, specifically in sheer. I saw couple bloggers with sheer polka dot print tops and I was in love. I just love the feminine feel to it.

My go-to way to style polka dot would probably be a more classy, elegant approach. I would suggest styling a top with a blazer. A solid color blazer will make your dots pops.

I paired my polka dotted blouse from Shein with high rise, wide leg, dressy pants. I added a red baret for a little umph. I don't always like pairing black and white. It tends to be a little on the boring side. I only did it this time because I really wanted to wear this baret.
