Wearing Leather This Season

it is time to be cool, sexy and edgy this season. Leather shorts are sneaking their way back into the scene and I am super excited about it. Although leather fabric can be a bit warm, wearing leather shorts or even a skirt is not. These sleek leather pieces are perfect for any season. Just add a pair of tights for those colder months.

Leather just gives out all bad girl vibes. They may be the most versatile article of clothing yet and they look good paired with nearly everything; a simple white tee and leather shorts and heels and you are ready for a night out!

I got these red leather shorts from Shein online and I loved them the moment I saw them. They were so comfortable to wear and yet looked so stylish. I don’t usually do leather but I love the edgy feel to the fabric and decided to take a chance. I chose the color red for these shorts because I thought it would give the look a shot of feminine. I also added this straw hat for a little more edge.

I paired these shorts with a white crop top and black sandal heels. This look is perfect for any daytime occasion; happy hour, barbecues, you name it.

Lastly, to showcase how truly stylish leather pieces are, I styled these black leather pants, that are currently my absolute favorite, with this off the shoulder blouse. These leather pants are slightly more lightweight than your typical leather pants which make it perfect for warmer months. This style pant can give any look an extra added umph. It truly is the perfect material for any occasion. For summer months, be short to style with a open-toed shoes and a thin fabric top.

It was time to ramp up my wardrobe and this skirt definitely added some sexy to it. I got this skirt mainly because of the color. There was just something about this butterscotch color that called me! I paired this skirt with a black laced bodysuit and white sandals. Leather is a perfect piece for transitioning between seasons. Although it is June, we are still wearing jackets in Connecticut. This fabric is perfect for that transition period where it may not yet be 90 degree weather. its truly a versatile piece.
