Preparing Amelia's At-Home Learning Center with Michael's and Amazon
Despite our plan to send Amelia to school this Fall, I put together this learning corner in her room for her to have an area dedicated to learning. We will use this area for reading books and homework. If you read my last post, you are aware that Amelia is now going to a new private school.
I teamed up with Michael’s to show you the cool things I got to put at her desk at home. Since her bedroom set already brings a desk, I have decided to put her little corner in her room.
Here are a list of items that I got to put in her at-home learning corner:
-A calendar that includes the weather and seasons for her to change every single day
-A fire tablet for online learning games and books
-Lots and lots of books
-A cart to have storage for smaller essentials; such as construction paper, masks, hand sanitizer, notebooks, pencils, crayons, color pencils, coloring books, play doh, bubbles and her pencil box.
-A small desk lamp
-A chalkboard
-different color chalk for cute messages from Mom
-Dry erase markers (per her teachers request)
-Some fun bulletin board posters
Luckily, her school supply list is short, thank God. The only thing left for us to grab is her backpack. She wanted to come with me for that and be able to choose the one she likes.
After putting this little area together, I am in much better spirits about her new school year. I am so excited for her and I am sure that despite all the craziness going on, we will be sure to make it as fun as possible for all of us.
