A Weekend Project Turned Into a Fun Day With the Girls

Hey Guys!

Happy Hump Day to all. I wanted to share this weekend experience with you all. I had a few of my ladies over to help me with a little home improvement project. As you know, I have recently purchased a home. The house is pretty spacious with a little over an acre of land. But it definitely needs some work. It an old home and the previous owners were elderly. So it is up to my hubby and I to make this house a home for our little family. 

I started with the living room. When we moved the entire living room was painted yellow. And not a pretty yellow; it was an ugly and old looking yellow, as you can see in the pic below. My husband and his friend took a weekend to paint and then my ladies and came over the following weekend for a little home decor. And boy did they transform my living room. I could not be happier with the final product. Below are a few before and after photos for you guys to see the transformation. Its amazing what a little paint can do. There's still a few minor touches left to do to completely finish this living room, but I am so happy with the results so far. My girls are amazing!

I wanted to shout out a Taisha Franklin! I told her my vision and she literally brought it all to life for me!! And to my ladies that came and helped put this together; Cristal and Jenny. You guys are amazing and you did an awesome job!
