Hospital Bag Essentials
Hey Mommies!
I remember when I had my first baby, I had no idea what to pack for the big D-Day. I was not sure what was provided by the hospital and what I need to bring. So I pretty much packed EVERYTHING you can think of. It looked like I was going away for the entire weekend. Although it worked out because I ended up having a C-Section and needed to stay a couple extra days at the hospital anyway, I packed way too much. So I decided to post this guide to all my new mommies who aren't sure what to take with them to the hospital.
But now that I have been through the experience, I have an idea of what exactly to bring with me come D-Day.
Below are the few essentials I am taking with me for the big day:
- one going home outfit for me
- bathrobe
- one going home outfit for baby in yellow (yellow is suppose to bring the baby good luck; dominican tradition)
- a couple nursing bras
- a receiving blanket
- sleep suits for baby
- socks for baby
- hand mitts for baby
- burping clothes (the hospital provides)
- pacifiers
- Toiletries: deodarant, toothbrush, toothpaste, contact lenses, contact solution, etc.
- cell phone and charger
- camera
- panties
I hope this list better helps you prepare for the big day! Feel free to comment below and don't forget to subscribe :)
