The Ultimate Winter 2019 Style Guide for Feeling Your Absolute Best.

We are going to have to get cozy in this cold weather because it is here to stay, at least for now. Dressing stylish for winter has always been a challenge for me mainly because all I want to do is be warm. I hate being cold and sometimes you most stylish option is not always the warmest option. However, all over my social media I have been seeing these trends repeatedly and the best part about it is that some are actually warm and cozy.

Crossbody bag

These cute bags are so noticeable and they are great to make your outfit stand out. It is important to pick a good one because sometimes it is all you see under all those layers.

Coats

A long, elegant pea coat have always been my favorite option, especially in the color white. Peacoat have always been my personal preference. It gives the coat such a more elegant, classy feel. However, bubble coats are perfect for everyday casual wear. No need to walk around without trying to look cute without a coat because coats are a great outwear for any winter look.

Over the Knee Boots

The over-the-knee boots have again made it to the front line of stylish for another year. Now, we are seeing them most popular in snake prints! Although I absolutely love how the snake print looks, I find myself still gravitating towards the basic, one color, leather or suede style boot. I am also seeing brown boots coming back as well.

Turtlenecks

– this trend has honestly become one of my favorites. Primarily because it can be considered, a basic and you can build from it. Take that tank top summer dress and just add a turtleneck under it and voila, a new winter outfit!

Chunky Knit

Another favorite of mine, because as I said before, I just want to be warm and cozy, and chunky knits do the job quite well. I love to see how fashion bloggers are styling these knits; with skirts, dresses, etc. The options when it comes to styling this type of sweater are endless and I love everything about the look!

Boots

Of course all style boots are perfect for this time of year. We cannot go through winter without owning at least 2-3 different pair boots. The casual combat boot is my go-to for everyday wear. It adds a little edge to your everyday look. Heel boots are more of my weekend, outfit wear. I usually tend to dress up more on the weekends since I get to sleep later and I don’t have to go to work! Heeled boots look perfect with a simple pair of jeans and turtleneck basic top!

I hope these simple pieces help bring you basic looks to life. I would love to hear how you did. Make sure you comment below your thoughts and lets chat style! Be sure to tag me in your inspired looks as well. I cannot wait to see what you put together. Thank you all for reading.
