Glamming Up Your Favorite Denim

Who doesn’t love a nice, comfy pair of denim pants? I have 2 mom jeans that are in constant rotation. They are my absolute favorite pair of jeans because they look good and feel comfortable.

I wanted to put this post together because I know a lot of us are moms and we like things to be simple. Most of us do not have the time for glam. I have to be ready in less than 30 minutes when going out with the kids because, if not they will start to get tiresome and not let me finish properly, which may then result in either a wrinkled shirt or discontent in my outfit because I was rushed.

Jeans are the easiest to style and look good altogether. Here are some quick tips for vamping up your favorite pair of jeans.

make sure your jeans properly

you want to wear jeans that come up high enough to hide your midsection. I personally do not like super tight jeans since it is not the most comfortable feeling for me. Tight low-rise jeans appear more youthful. The medium to high rise give you more of a dressier look.

classic cut

Classic cut jeans, like a boot cut or straight leg jeans give you more versitility. This style cut resemble trousers which go great with a cute pair of heels, giving you a dressier look.

dress top

A nice dress top will definitely take your jeans to the next level; a classic button down blouse, tucked in, will give you a crisp, clean feel. I have been loving the statement sleeve tops as well as displayed in this photo. Slick and lace tops are also great choices. These tops give your jeans a more elegant feel. The sophisticated top will sure to counteract the casual nature of your jeans.

layering

Layering is always a great option but also requires a little more work. My favorite, go-to, layering piece is definitely a blazer. A blazer will transform a simply tee shirt and jeans look. Add a statement necklace as well to bring a little touch of elegance.

accessorize

I am not big on accessories. But I have seen other girls glam up the simplest pair of jeans by just added a statement necklace or a pair of earrings. Chain belts are currently my favorite accessory for glamming up my jeans. It will sure to bring your look go from casual to chic

heels

And lastly, add a cute pair of pumps! I know most of us cringe at the sound of heels but don’t kitten heels are also in now so take advantage of the trend. A stiletto heel will definitely dress up those jeans for you and it is probably the fastest way to do so.
